The Kinsley

The Kinsley was designed to resemble a carpenter’s old tool caddy. Made of solid wood and hand painted, distressed red with raw wood accents to give it an aged, weathered appearance. The rustic design of this piece is enhanced with antique brass/bronze grommets at the top of the vertical sections holding the removable dowel and matching brass/bronze antique corner braces attached with nails.

The Kinsley is not only durable and useful as an organization caddy but it also adds a touch of elegance to any space. It’s a versatile piece for any home décor. From modern to rustic, our caddy will complement any style. This piece would also make a great gift. The options are endless!

Protective Sealant:

Each piece in our collections is sealed with a lacquer sealant through a multi-layer process. The lacquer will not yellow with age. In addition, the lacquer sealant will protect well against liquids and require very little maintenance. Please see Care and Use below.

About the Design:

All of our pieces in each collection are designed and handmade in our small woodshop in Shelby, NC. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. These pieces are crafted to inspire a rustic farmhouse charm. You will find imperfections such as dents, scuffs and scratches. These imperfections have been added with tools such as a steel wire brush, hammer, or metal chain to replicate years of use. This is what sets our pieces apart, giving each piece its authentic, aged, hand-crafted character.

Care and Use:

While each piece is sealed with a lacquer sealant through a multi-layer process to help prevent stains we always recommend placing a barrier between any food and the piece to make cleaning easier and to aid in preventing stains. Do not submerge in water or put into the dishwasher. Clean with a damp cloth and dish soap as needed. DO NOT SOAK as this may warp wood. Let the piece air dry completely before storing.

All sizes are measured in inches and are approximate (+/-1/4″ to prevent wood waste). You can find size and weight under the “Additional Information” tab. Dimensions include handles if applicable.
